RSPB Schools’ Birdwatch

27 January 2011

Have you been taking part in the RSPB Schools’ Birdwatch

“It is a free, fun and simple activity, only takes an hour to complete, is rich in curriculum links, and is open to all UK schools. It’s also a great way to get to know more about the wildlife visiting your school grounds, or a local park.”

The Big Schools’ Birdwatch runs between 24 January–4 February 2011 and even if you don’t manage to take part this year do visit the site for some great data handling activities. You may also wish to get involved with the Birdbox Project. Why not add a birdbox with a webcam to your school ground?

There is a further list of Whiteboard sites here. Have I missed any?
