Swiggle

The South West Grid for Learning has recently launched a pupil specific version of its web site called “Swiggle”.

It’s easy for children to use and navigate.

There is a Google search which is set to its strictest filtering level (although as with most search engines nothing can be guaranteed 100% safe).

It filters inappropriate words and listings, and promotes educational resources and appropriate KS2 content

Provides tips and resources to help children stay safe online

Saves teachers time, requires no setup and encourages best practice online

Makes an ideal homepage for home or classroom computers
